How to Build a Farmhouse Coat Rack
For Valentine's Day my wife wanted a coat rack. She had shown me several that she liked but nothing got me excited to build. I decided to take a look at some old wood that I had out in my shop and came up with the design you see below. I call it the Miller Farmhouse coat rack.
This past summer I was blessed with an opportunity to get some really old wood out of a barn that was built before the civil war. The barn sat on a 1000 acre farm.
I should have used the wireless DEWALT Bare-Tool DC385B18-Volt Cordless Reciprocating Saw, it would have made my job so much easier. I had a wired DEWALT DWE304 10-Amp Reciprocating Saw. I had to run a very long extension cord out to the barn. You can see from the picture above that the barn is in the middle of a field.
